| I think the greatest challenge we are facing right now is experience. The boss fights are starting to require everyone to play an important role in the fight. If one person messes up, it usually results in a wipe. |
ABSOLUTELY!!!! 100% correct.
I support this new progression night, but a raid will never work unless EVERYONE there has read the fight, knows the boss, knows the tricks, knows the traps. You should know exactly what to do, what not to do, and when. If you don't, DON'T RAID until you do!
If you think "Oh I'm just a healer I just stand there spam heals," or "I'm just dps I just stand there and pew pew/stab stab" you are wrong.

. Everyone has extremely important roles.
Dead usually explains the fight at the beginning, this is a nice, but ideally unnecessary luxury, everyone should already know what to do. If you're counting on it as you're only explanation, you might as well not be there. Do some research on the fight and how your class should handle it. Leo is an amazing example of this. Every class has to deal with their "twin" completely different, even healers and tanks.
I would love to see a raid where no explanation of the fight will be given, and we go in there and one-shot it.

I seriously, soberly suggest it.
